Founded in 1980 as John Newton & Partners by John Newton & Alan Brackley, jnpgroup consulting engineers now has thirty years experience. jnpgroup
In 1991 an additional office was opened in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

The Sheffield office was opened in 1998.

Andrew Dawson and Peter Hurd were promoted to Partners in August 1991.

The Brighouse and Sheffield Offices were combined in 1996, managed by local Partners, Stuart Evans and John Wood. Derek Smith was promoted to local Partner in 2002.

Mike Hamilton was promoted to Partner in August 2000.

Our Leamington Spa office was opened in 2001 managed by Andrew Lee. Andrew Lee was promoted to local Partner in August 2004.

The company converted to Limited Liability Partnership status in 2003.
