Chalk Hill
The project was a design and build contract which included the part demolition of the existing structure, retention and refurbishment of an existing gymnasium building, construction of a new two-storey office and classroom block, new single storey multi purpose hall and rebuilt single storey cafe area for Brent Council.
jnpgroup formed part of a design and detail of foundations, substructure, superstructure and drainage.
The site is located at the end of a residential estate with the proposed buildings to be constructed over the footprint of the demolished structure and previous asphalt hard surfaces in close proximity to the river Brent. The site was slightly sloped, falling from north to south towards the river which is aligned with mature tree’s.
