Bluecoats school

jnpgroup consulting engineers designed the steel framed superstructure and foundations of a new 6,200ft² sports hall comprising tennis, hockey, badminton, retractable roof-mounted basketball goals, 5-a-side football, netball, cricket nets, climbing wall, fitness room and aerobics suite.

The existing structural steel framed gymnasium was converted to a Dining Hall.

jnpgroup consulting engineers analysed the existing structure, specifying strengthening where necessary to carry the new, heavier, insulated cladding system and ceiling mounted kitchen equipment.

Other new facilities included extended changing rooms, new teaching areas, offices and meeting rooms. jnpgroup provided full engineering design services.
