An Independent Sector Treatment Centre for Capio Healthcare within the grounds of Horton Hospital Banbury.
jnpgroup consulting engineers provided a full civil and structural design service for the construction of this new build, 4500 sq m minor surgery unit
Floors are ‘Slimfor’ floors – composite concrete and deep profiled steel deck on asymmetric beams - to minimise the structural zone, and keep the very congested services zone clear of down-stand beams.
Facilities include three operating theatres, outpatient, twenty six private wards with en-suite bathrooms, an MRI scanner and and X-ray suite.
Novated to the Contractor, Leadbitter Construction, jnp have worked closely with the architect, Hall Needham Associates and the site team to assist with the fast track construction programme.
The building has been handed over to Capio and is now fully operational.
