The development is to provide a Low Secure Unit (LCU) at Fieldhead Hospital allowing the Trust to re-organise their other facilities and units in the Region.

The project has included the provision of new roofs to replace the original flat roofs to give a more welcoming aspect and scale to the facility and to also provide a recreational block for use by the LCU and other faculties on the site.

The project is currently approaching completion and is programmed to be operational later this year . The project has been carried out under the NHS ProCure 21 programme in conjunction with Interserve Project Service Ltd
