Airport Gate is a 140,000 sq ft industrial/distribution development completed in July 1999, comprising an estate of 7 units in 3 blocks.

The development is situated approximately 200m from the freight entrance to Heathrow Airport and achieved a record rent for the Heathrow area in 2000.

Airport Gate is another example of the One Stop engineering solutions that JNP Group consulting engineers is able to provide, delivering integrated solutions to the challenges facing developers of brownfield sites.

JNP Group consulting engineers provided a full civil, structural and environmental engineering service to the development. This site was the first in the UK to use a pioneering 'active gate' technology with groundwater recharge to 'flush out and neutralise' contamination in the groundwater below. This innovative approach allowed a previously derelict site to be developed, funded and insured.
