Signal Box, Medge Hall
Medge Hall Signal Box in north Linclonshire was suffering subsidence and was leaning towards the track.
A system of piled foundations was installed to underpin the signal box, incorporating jacking points which allowed a steel frame to be introduced into the structure and this was subsequently used to reposition the body of the signal box to line and level, without interruption of the function of the installation, before the structure and fabric was refurbished.
