How does the Flood & Water Management Act 2010 affect you?
The new Act will impose much greater liabilty on developers to obtain detailed design approval to surface water drainage at the Planning Stage rather than at detailed design stage. JNP Group have extensive experience of cost effective approaches to surface water drainage strategy and design and will be pleased to help you....
JNP Group services provided:
Foundations on the site were designed to account for disused foundations and cellars, old pits, highly plastic clay soils and trees. The roads and surface water sewers serving the site were adoptable but due to constraints of the site the foul sewers were designed as private. This required lengthy negotiations with the relevant authorities to allow a private sewer to run in part under adoptable roads.
The roads were designed to fully adoptable standards and approved by Bucks County Council. The site also connected into the A418 and offsite S278 works included roundabout design were undertaken by JNP Group consulting engineers again to the satisfaction of the Highways Authority.
The above scheme is typical of the services offered to residential developers for low rise housing. Housing estates from a matter of a few houses up to 3000 are regularly undertaken by the Practice offering our full range of engineering services.
