Blaw Knox
jnpgroup consulting engineers provided full structural engineering design and detail of all foundations and superstructure based on in-situ reinforced concrete ground beams on CFA piles, with reinforced load bearing masonry superstructure. Disproportionate collapse is accommodated by additional reinforcement in each floor by using in-situ reinforced concrete topping and hollow rib profile metal decking, avoiding the need for tie columns and beams to satisfy the code requirements.
Detailed 3D analysis of site earthworks including 3D modelling and rationalisation of cut and fill volumes on the site to avoid removal of surplus arisings from the site. Provision of full earthwork details including specification and cut and fill analysis.
Design and detail of highway retaining structures, retaining slopes and advice on infrastructure. Basic road and drainage design undertaken in house by Persimmon Homes (south east) Ltd.
