jnpgroup consulting engineers carried out a full civil and structural engineering design service for this successful development, providing solutions to the primary issues of progressive collapse, open plan basements and basement drainage.
The site at Jubilee Square, Reading was used to provide a medium rise apartment block including basement car parking in a ‘C’ shaped plan, with surrounding amenity areas.
Prior to construction existing public buildings were demolished on the site which is in the centre of Reading near the A4/A327 junction.
The project comprised 120 apartments including basement car parking for both public and private sector housing.
