Major riverside residential development in the centre of Chelmsford within Flood Zone 2 & 3.

The development will provide around 420 homes including apartments and houses with public open spaces and attractive landscaping.

As part of the Flood Risk Assessment JNP Group carried out 2D overland hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW software to determine peak flows through the development site as a result of river flooding during severe storms.

The site plan and topography of the proposed development provides storage areas onsite to intercept and collect overland water and protect the residents and buildings in the event of severe flooding.
