Position Summary
The postholder will be responsible for delivering site investigation projects from desk study through to site investigation, scheduling of soils for laboratory analysis and reporting. The candidate will undertake independent work, often on remote sites so effective time management skills are essential.

Main Duties
The position is within the Ground Engineering team in the Leamington Office which undertakes a variety of contamination and geotechnical projects across the UK.
Requirements
Education/Learning Experience
You will possess a Degree in Geology or a science related discipline and 1+ years experience.
Work Experience
- Familiar with Phase 1 and 2 assessments
- Logging of soils to BS5930
- Supervision of ground investigations
- Negotiations with land owners, subcontractors and clients
- Supervision of remedial works
- Self motivated and able to manage own workload within agreed timescales
Competencies
- Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel
- Comply with requirements of the Office QA system
- Good Communication Skills
- Self motivated and able to manage own workload within agreed timescales
- Present a professional image to all clients and employees
- Smart appearance
- Willing to assist colleagues with other office tasks when necessary
