JNP Group undertook a full range of civil, structural and environmental engineering services on behalf of developer Crest Nicholson, for redevelopment of a former Nurses Home at Stone Hospital near Aylesbury in Bucks.
Foundations on the site were designed to account for disused foundations and cellars, old pits, clay soils and trees. The roads and surface water sewers serving the site were adoptable but due to constraints of the site the foul sewers were designed as private. This required lengthy negotiations with the relevant authorities to allow a private sewer to run in part under adoptable roads.
The roads were designed to fully adoptable standards and approved by Bucks County Council. The site also connected into the A418 and offsite Section 278 works included roundabout design were undertaken by JNP Group again to the satisfaction of the Highways Authority.
The above scheme is typical of the services offered to residential developers for low rise housing. Housing estates from a matter of a few houses up to 3000 are regularly undertaken by the Practice offering our full range of engineering services.
JNP Group services provided:
- S38 Road design.
- S278 Offsite highway design.
- S104 Drainage design.
- Structural design.
