The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Campaign was ‘Action’, encouraging taking small but impactful steps for yourself, for others, and for all of us.
Here at JNP Group we recognise the importance of bringing our teams together, promoting conversations and supporting each other. To encourage this, our Wellbeing team organised a variety of activities across the week.
On the first day our offices came together for lunch and took part in conversation starters designed to help colleagues get to know each other better. Sometimes it’s the small conversations that make the biggest difference. By creating opportunities to connect beyond day-to-day work, we strengthen relationships within our teams and help build an environment where open conversations about wellbeing feel more natural and supported.
The other days saw our teams spending time outdoors by going for a walk around the local area, creating a wellbeing wall with sticky notes displaying different ways to boost mental health, and lunchtime quiz provided a bit of healthy competition with a special guest, Dave Ainsley from SMR Projects Ltd – Waterproofing Specialists joining the teams following his insightful CPD session with the team.
We truly appreciate our team taking part in these activities – their mental wellbeing remains at the forefront of what we do.
