JNP Group consulting engineers provided a full civil and structural design service for the construction of this new build, 4,500m² minor surgery unit.

Floors are ‘Slimfor’ floors – composite concrete and deep profiled steel deck on asymmetric beams – to minimise the structural zone, and keep the very congested services zone clear of down-stand beams.

Facilities include three operating theatres, outpatient, twenty six private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, an MRI scanner and an X-ray suite.

Novated to the Contractor, Leadbitter Construction, JNP Group have worked closely with the architect, Hall Needham Associates and the site team to assist with the fast track construction programme.

The building has been handed over to Capio and is now fully operational.
